Introduction to wet desulfurization skills
Wet desulfurization technology is a desulfurization technology to oxidize hydrogen sulfide in gas into elemental sulfur in liquid phase rich in catalyst. The process of this skill is relatively simple, and elemental sulfur can be obtained directly. It is mainly used to process gases with high carbon dioxide concentration for desulfurization, such as biogas. The key to this skill lies in whether the selection of some parameters of the equipment meets the actual needs.
2.1 basic principle of desulfurization
Desulfurization with catalyst can be divided into two processes: absorption and regeneration. The absorption process mainly occurs in the desulfurization tower that absorbs hydrogen sulfide. The primary response is as follows
2.2 wet desulfurization skill process
The desulfurization solution uses sodium carbonate as the alkali source, the total alkalinity is 0.3 ~ 0.6N, nahco3:na2co3 ≥ 5 and the pH value is 8.2 ~ 8.5; The catalyst is dissolved and mixed with desulfurization solution.
During operation, the sulfur-containing methane enters from the bottom of the desulfurization tower and touches the desulfurization solution in the opposite direction. Hydrogen sulfide is absorbed by the alkali solution, and the purified methane is discharged from the top of the tower. The desulfurized liquid after absorbing hydrogen sulfide becomes rich liquid, flows through the rich liquid tank, is pumped into the regeneration tank, and is mixed with air for regeneration. During this period, sulfur floats on the top of the tank in the form of simple substance and overflows to the sulfur paste tank. After regeneration, the desulfurized liquid becomes lean liquid, and the desulfurized liquid can be recovered. After passing through the lean liquid tank, it is pumped into the desulfurizing tower for continuous desulfurization.
